NEWS

Have You Registered for the Ontario Autism Consultations?
Ontario's government is engaging in a month-long series of public consultations on how children and youth with autism, including those with complex needs, can be better supported. Families are encouraged to participate in the consultations during the month of May by participating in an online survey and/or through participating in telephone town hall sessions.



CTN is Modo Yoga's Karma Charity in Barrie This Month
We are so excited to announce that CTN's Family Fund has been selected as Modo Yoga Barrie's community organization for the month of May! Every Friday evening in May from 6:30-7:30pm Modo will be offering a Karma class for a $10.00 donation. All proceeds will be donated to our Family Fund.  If you're in the Barrie area and want to try yoga for a good cause, we hope to see you there! For more information about the fund click here



Try-A-Bike Events are Back this Spring
This free biking event will give individuals an opportunity to try a variety of different bikes to
determine what bike will help them learn to ride on their own. Join us in Barrie on Saturday, May 11th from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Lampman Community Centre and in Richmond Hill on Saturday, June 1st from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. at Elgin West Community Centre.

Special Needs Parenting: Celebrating Nurses Week
When Heather was given her first nursing hours, she didn't know what to expect but she soon came to realize what a positive difference it made in the way she could parent and even live her very busy life with her son with special needs and his brothers.
