In Memorium

Lex, above in the picture, was diagnosed at only 3 years of age with osteoporosis in his shoulder. He underwent amputation and then through Dr. Mason's clinical trials at MedVet in Columbus OH, while under foster care with Central Ohio Greyhound Rescue. Those veterinarians felt that Lex's entire clavicle should have been removed so Cora Marro, of Bluff City Greyhounds took him home to Tennessee for further surgery, The boy turned four years old at Christmastime and his lungs were clear, so he was due for his 6 month booster of listeria on June 25. But because he was having trouble with his hind legs, Cora made the 9 hour trip to drive him back to Columbus.
And there,
the decision was made to end his life.
