Our mission: to be a sign of Christ’s love for the world.
How wonderful to worship together in our sanctuary! As we adjust to sharing space again, please be mindful to the needs of those around us.

Out of love & safety for our youngest & most vulnerable, ALL worshipers are to wear masks while in the sanctuary.

As Matthew 7:12 says, "Treat others as you would want to be treated." Thank you for living in Christian love with one another!
Missed A Live Worship?
Need to hear it again? Check out any sermons you missed here!

This week’s scripture lessons are Psalm 36:5-10 & Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.
Remember Your Church This Summer
As summer fun and vacation draws us away from town and church, don't forget that our church is still in ministry in the community. We are still open and need your support. Your financial gifts are essential to the ministry and campus of Dilworth Church. Visit our website to make your contributions online or you can drop off your contributions and use other means of giving. Also, worship with us live on Facebook at 10 am even when out of town. Enjoy and find relaxation this summer. Thank you for sustaining the ministries of Dilworth Church through your gifts.
Altar Flowers
This week's flowers are in loving memory of Carolyn Trail & Julian Trail in celebration of their birthdays from their daughter Karen Martin. If you want to see these beautiful arrangements, make sure you watch the Worship service on Facebook Live. In addition to the calendar on Aisha’s office door, we’ve created a Sign-Up Genius to make it super easy to reserve a date to place flowers on the altar. Flowers on the altar make our worship more beautiful and alive. If you would like to use the church’s florist, The Blossom Shop, Aisha will be happy to call in the order for you. The standard seasonal arrangement they provide is $65 plus tax but will enhance it with specific flower and color requests for an additional cost. You can also bring in an arrangement from your garden, a market, or wherever you want to get them. We’ve got lots of available dates, so click here to sign-up for 2021, and let’s bring some of the beauty of God’s creation into our worship in the Sanctuary.
Dine Outside Dilworth
Stay after the service this Sunday, July 25 to enjoy food trucks and fellowship on the church lawn. Food, refreshments, and icy treats will be available, so bring your appetite! We are excited to partner with Island Boy Kreationz, Sunset Slush, and Hog N Dog Too! To place a pre-order with Hog N Dog Too, text your order to 704-506-1737 so your food is ready right at 11. Please text (980) 785-8372 with your name and what you would like to place your order with Island Boy Kreationz. Please reach out to Pastor Cade (cade.barefoot@dilworthchurch.org) for more info about this event.
Habitat For Humanity
We are thrilled to announce that the Charlotte Church Partners have been paired with Robbin Cunningham for our 2021 Habitat for Humanity annual home build. This partnership is especially meaningful for Dilworth because Robbin is the mother of 5, including Jaylan, DUMC member Cris Areskog’s “Little Brother” through the Big Brothers program. Many of you have met Jaylan or heard stories about him over the years from Cris. Robbin needs our help with her Habitat volunteer hours so she can take the next step in the Habitat homeowner process of picking her homesite (hopefully in the early fall so we can begin the build in Sept/Oct). She needs volunteers to work alongside her at the Charlotte Habitat ReStore on Mondays, from 9 am – 1 pm, to help her get closer to completing these required hours. If you are interested and available, please contact one of us (emails below), and we’ll share your name with Habitat. Thank you for your support of Robbin, her family, and Habitat. We look forward to sharing more information about our 2021 home build in the upcoming months. With gratitude, Meredeth(mer.murr@gmail.com) & Jennifer (jwmeier7@gmail.com).
Project Agape - Part 3

Thank you for helping us make great progress over the last few months as we collect different items to fill the boxes! Not interested in purchasing items from a wishlist? Contact katiemccraw1@gmail.com for other ways to help.
