Employer Panel Recap
The AGAPE Reentry Program Successful Second Chances Employer Panel was held Friday, January 24th at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley. Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast before hearing an engaging keynote from The SoulFisher Ministries Founder/CEO, Shawntelle Fisher. She addressed the many challenges and stereotypes justice involved individuals face when trying to earn a livable wage. Attendees then gathered in small groups to brainstorm around issues commonly faced by those impacted by the criminal justice system. Later in the event, they were able to ask the panel of employers for their unique view on the subject. Click the button below to see photos from the event:
If you missed this amazing event, you can still make the next one. Registration for the next employer panel opens soon. See the flyer below for more details.

MEET STEPHEN
Stephen Clark is a student at Westview Middle, in the Riverview Gardens school district. He has been in the ENAL After School Tutoring program for several years, and has grown to be a leader amongst his peers. During the summer program, when there was a need for junior leaders, he gladly stepped up and did a phenomenal job.

“My name is Steven Clark and I’m in the 7th grade. I’ve been in the ENAL After-school Tutoring Program for 3 years. Since entering the program, I’ve improved expeditiously both academically and emotionally. I have two future goals: one is to get better at basketball so I can be in the NBA. The other is to maintain a 4.0 until college.”
