Camp Friedlander Fun Fact

Lake Slavin recently served as the backdrop for the Life Skills area at Camp Friedlander, but has served in many capacities over the years. It was once Eagle Ridge, an area dedicated to Eagle required merit badges and the council ring for Camp Craig. The "boat" pictured was used when canoeing and rowing were done on Lake Slavin. The structure still exists, though does not resemble a boat quite as much.
Scout First Helpline

Did you know that Scouting has a Scout's First Helpline? This dedicated 24-hour helpline 844-SCOUTS1 (844-726-8871) is in place to receive reports of known or suspected abuse or behavior that might put a youth at risk. The protection of youth is the primary obligation of every individual involved in the Boy Scouts of America— including leaders, parents, members, and professionals.
