PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:

+ Please pray for the young adults in our church, that they would live out these verses in their lives: "... offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship.  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will." {Romans 12:1-2}

+ Pray also for our Guatemala Team as they prepare for their June 15-22 Partnership Trip. They will work together with Potter's House Ministry, this time traveling to the town of Chiquimula to serve people there.

+ Pray for our outgoing class of Fellows (Emily, Sarah, Josiah, Jun Soo, Laura, Philip, Alex, Daylon, Amy, Lauren and Rachel), that they would take the things the Lord has taught them this year out into the world to "love and serve him with gladness and singleness of heart."

Bolash Sabbatical 2019 | Purpose & Practices

Church Family,
My family and I have been given the opportunity to take an eight-week sabbatical this summer after seventeen years of serving at Church of the Apostles, nine years as an ordained priest. We're fairly excited!

As we enter this time, I want to share with you the purpose of it, and the practices that I will take up while I'm away.

Dates:  May 28 -  August 5

Saturday, June 1st is our last "official" First Serve Saturday!  For the last four months {on the first Saturdays}, work crews have traveled to Pender County, working on Miss Annie and family's homes that were damaged in the wake of Hurricane Florence last fall.  We've partnered with our church plant, Christ Our Hope Wilmington and other area rebuild programs.  Take this opportunity to bless and BE BLESSED!  Contact Steve Zimmerman for details: [email protected].

Join us for our monthly gathering! Meal begins at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall followed by a time of worship in the Youth Room at 6:30pm.

OUR MISSION PARTNERS
Summer Reading Opportunity
The SAFE Families Ministry would like to invite you to read The Gospel Comes with a House Key by Rosaria Butterfield over the summer.  SAFE Families will gather in September to discuss the book and fellowship. Please email Suzanne Garrison { [email protected]}  to sign up and to receive more details.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Linda Lupien is inviting Apostles women to participate in a deeper discussion of Revelation. This interesting vision our Lord invited the apostle John into has so much hope, affirmation and encouragement in it we need to keep mining the treasures.

Monday evenings | 7-8:30pm | Room 201
June 10 (chapters 1-4); June 24 (ch 5-8); July 8 (ch 9-12); July 22 (ch 13-16); Aug 5 (ch 7-22)

Come when you can, bring your Bible and your curiosity. Jesus masterfully created a detailed painting to seal in all the Truth we need to know. Let's admire His Revelation.
