CRESCENT: FLATTENING THE CURVE
Crescent Personal Health and Wellness Response and COVID-19 updated symptoms
Communicable diseases like coronavirus and the respiratory illness it causes, COVID-19, can bring a busy workforce to a standstill- but not Crescent.To manage Crescent’s response to the spread of the COVID-19 virus to protect the well-being of our people, customers and suppliers.

Crescent Personal Health and Wellness Response:
  • Maintain Social Distance; Keep 6 feet of distance between our people
  • Frequent Handwashing, Sanitizing or Glove Changes once per hour
  • Frequent Cleaning/Disinfecting high touch surfaces
  • Personal accountability to wellness – if you’re sick or have a fever of 100.4, stay home.
  • Health Temperature checks required prior to entry or shift start at all Crescent locations. (ED 3/30/20)
  • Homemade Masks strongly encouraged; issued guidance on approved styles
  • Masks mandatory, re-usable or disposable; E1, D1 & M2 4/21/20; C1/C8, C5 & GE 4/23/20
  • COVID Test Kits implemented is 4/20/20 (CoronaCheck)

According to the CDC, People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.

These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus:
  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

When to Seek Medical Attention
If you have any of these emergency warning signs* for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately:
  • Trouble breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion or inability to arouse
  • Bluish lips or face
