NJ Real Estate License Testing The NJ Real Estate Commission just announced that PSI has now received approval to resume license testing for real estate in NJ as of July 1, 2020.

Here’s How To Apply (UPDATED) Struggling New Jersey residents seeking rental relief can apply for the state’s $100 million rental assistance program beginning July 6. The  Covid-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program  will provide up to six months of emergency rental assistance to low- and moderate-income households that have been affected by coronavirus, which has left more than 1 in 4 New Jerseyans unemployed and thousands unable to pay their rent. Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) / Unemployment Assistance (UA)

Forbes: President Signs PPP Extension On July 4, the President signed into law a bill extending the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)—an emergency federal loan facility for small businesses struggling because of the pandemic—for another five weeks until August 8, 2020. Read more .

The National Association of REALTORS ®  (NAR) has been helping members with  guides and instructional videos . Recently, a new shorter EZ application loan forgiveness form was released by the Small Business Administration, and full forgiveness was granted to independent contractors and sole proprietors who meet certain guidelines. Reminders

The  [still tentative] date of the 2020 CORE Circle of Excellence Breakfast , which will also include the Installation of 2021 Officers& Directors, is  December 16  at The Palace in Somerset. Once the CORE offices in Trenton and Branchburg are reopened, and that date is scheduled to be determined soon, members who want to pick up their Circle of Excellence of Certificates or Awards will be able to do so. Watch our e-newsletter for updates!

Applications for Realtor Emeritus Status  A Realtor who has held membership in NAR for a cumulative period of 40 years as a Realtor, Realtor-Associate, or both, and who has served for at least one year at NAR is eligible for Realtor Emeritus status.  Applications are due to your local association (CORE) no later than October 2, 2020 . The service to NAR that qualifies is at least one full year as an NAR officer, director, committee member, Federal Political Coordinator, Global Ambassador, or Global Coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement. New Jersey REALTORS️®: Been a Realtor for 25 Years?  NJ REALTORS Quarter Century Club honors NJ REALTOR members who have served as Realtors or Realtor-Associates faithfully in New Jersey for 25 years or more. Applications are due to your local association (CORE) no later than September 14, 2020 Application here.

NJ REALTORS: Good Neighbor Award application is now available.  The award recognizes three Realtors️ or Realtor-Associates who have made extraordinary commitments to improving the quality of life in their local and/or global communities through volunteer community service. The nominee's community work must have been conducted, started or completed between September 1, 2019 and August 31, 2020.
  • Three winners will be chosen and receive a grant for their charity of choice - $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second place, and $1,000 for third place.
