COVID-19 Resources for Families Regardless of Immigration Status
Information on healthcare, legal assistance, benefits and more
The COVID-19 pandemic is causing severe financial hardship for many people. Immigrant families face even more challenges in trying to understand their eligibility for healthcare and other services, as well as their rights.

Immigration status is not a factor in getting County healthcare for COVID-19.

If you or someone you know feels sick or thinks he or she has been exposed to COVID-19, call the County's Coronavirus Call Center for assistance:

844-729-8410 Open Daily 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

This call center is free for anyone, regardless of health insurance or immigration status. It is also confidential.

For health emergencies call 911.

Contra Costa residents, regardless of immigration status, are eligible for many other services and assistance to help them during this pandemic.

This includes eviction protection for renters who have lost their jobs or are working less hours due to COVID-19.

Click for details on the County's eviction protection ordinance, in English, and in Spanish. Eviction ordinance FAQ's.

Below is a comprehensive list of resources for immigrants, in English and in Spanish

Many thanks to a public-private partnership established by Contra Costa Health Services for compiling this important information.
