Research shows …

Daily exercise is not enough to combat the harmful effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Research from the American Heart Association found that:

Women who sit 6+ hours/day outside of work have a 34% higher risk of death than those who sat fewer than three hours. This also holds up even for women who exercised regularly.

Physically active men were 64% more likely to die from heart disease if they sat more than 23 hours a week in front of the TV compared to those who sat 11 hours a week or less.
