63RD ANNUAL MAGNIFICAT
BACCALAUREATE & COMMENCEMENT
On Monday, May 24, the Class of 2021 and their families gathered on Karnatz Family Field for the 63rd Annual Baccalaureate Mass & Commencement Ceremony. In addition to remarks from Commencement Speaker Clare Chambers '21, Magnificat's four highest honors were presented to the following graduates: Maya Daw '21, Phi Beta Kappa Award; Catherine Galla '21, Sr. Mary Pat Cook Leadership Award; Lana Haddad '21, Nancy Powell Service Award; Shekinah Crawford '21, Sr. Bernadette Vetter Award.

2021 Magnificat Honors & Awards
We are proud of our students' many accomplishments this school year, which were celebrated in honors ceremonies for each class May 20-26.
HM SISTERS ELECT NEW LEADERSHIP
The Sisters of the Humility of Mary held their Chapter of Elections May 13-14. Congratulations to the newly elected Leadership Team, who will be installed on August 7, when the congregation gathers for their annual missioning Mass!
ATHLETICS SPRING WRAP-UP
Congratulations to our Spring Blue Streak Athletes on a strong finish to the season!
Varsity Lacrosse finished the season 15-6, advancing to the OHSAA Division I
Regional Semifinal.

JV Lacrosse finished the regular season
with a record of 13-2-2

Varsity Softball finished the season with a record of 10-10.
OHSAA Division I Track & Field Regional Meet
The 4×800 Meter Relay team of Ella Kuhlman '21, Mariella Mayer '19, Shia Vargo '21, and Charlotte Harter '21 finished 8th with a season’s best time of 9:35.
Gracie Palamara '22 finished 5th in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.92.
Maggie Karabatsos '21
finished 13th in the Discus.
Magnificat Rowing sent one boat to the US Rowing Scholastic Nationals on May 27-28 in Philadelphia. The pairs boat of Allison Carroll '21 and Genevieve Turner '22 finished 6th in their semifinal heat. This is only the second boat in Magnificat history to make Nationals!
