Secretary of State, Dennis Richardson, passed away last Tuesday. I learned so much serving with Dennis. He was a genius regarding process and House rules. I actually said to myself, my first session, "I want to be like him." Almost daily, I would go to him and ask why he did or said something. Not to question his decisions but to learn from him. He always indulged me. Much of what I know and do as House Republican Whip, is because of Dennis. He helped shape me as a leader and as a State Representative. His family is in our prayers.
