Register Now For Leadership Shakopee 2020!

Leadership Shakopee is a leadership development program coordinated by the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce. This seven-session program informs emerging and existing leaders about the critical inner workings of our community. The class will participate in a series of educational and hands-on opportunities designed to inform and inspire leaders – and challenge them to make a difference through personal commitment and involvement. This year's Leadership Program will begin with a retreat in September and conclude with graduation in March 2021. Click for more info about the program.
Scott County Community Development Agency: Small Business Recovery Fund

To provide emergency recovery support to small local businesses in Scott County adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Scott County CDA Small Business Recovery Fund is providing forgivable loans of up to $5,000 to small businesses most in need of support. To be eligible, a small business must demonstrate that its operations have been directly and adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the State of Minnesota Executive Orders 20-04 and 20-08. Businesses must also have a physical location within Scott County, have employed between 3-20 full-time employees as of March 1, 2020, be under $1 million in annual revenue, and have been operating for at least 6 months prior to March 1, 2020.

G reystone Construction & Canterbury Park Partner On Shakopee Development
Canterbury Park and Greystone Construction will partner to develop a 13-acre parcel located on the southwest sector of Canterbury Commons. As part of the joint venture, Greystone Construction will construct its new 26,000 square foot headquarters on the site and relocate its operations beginning in 2021. The multiple-use site will feature up to six pad-ready sites and two internal roads. Uses under consideration include hospitality, dining and entertainment; multi-family or senior residential; office space; and service-oriented retail.

Greystone Construction President/CEO Kevin O’Brien said, "Shakopee has been home to Greystone Construction since its inception in 1987. We have experienced steady growth since our modest beginning and have built projects in 27 states.
