Now, more than ever, we need to come together and encourage one another, reminding one another of HOPE. Please help share this student-sparked campaign, whether via social media or print it and post it in your home, car, or office windows.

Let's share the message of HOPE with our entire community! Below is a printable PDF for you to share, print, or post.
May 6 is Pacer Day

Honor your favorite graduate(s) by sending us a short video shout-out! On Pacer Day, May 6, the videos will be posted on the graduation page of the USC Aiken website. The final production will include as many shout-outs as possible. Let's make our graduates feel extra special and give them the recognition they deserve!

The submission deadline is April 24.

Click here for details. On May 6, be sure to check out the graduation web page for all of the Pacer Day highlights!
Career Resources and
Remote Employment Opportunities

It's not too late for students to remotely reach out to members of Career Services staff who are ready to talk about majors, ways to improve a resume, and employment.

Encourage students to read their Monday, April 20 Daily Message which contains several hyperlinks to remote job opportunities.
Pacer Hero. Pacer Proud. Pacer Strong.

We remember the life, sacrifice, and dedication of Joshua Bush, a first-semester nursing student who bravely cared for COVID-19 patients in a local healthcare facility. Joshua passed away Friday, April 17, from complications related to the virus. As soon as possible, when students, faculty, and staff are back on campus, the university will celebrate his life by planting a tree in his honor near the School of Nursing.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, LaKita, their family, to our faculty and staff in the School of Nursing, all of our nursing students who knew him well, and our entire Pacer community
USC Aiken Professor
Inducted to SC Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Dr. Drew Geyer, chair of the English department, who was recently inducted to the South Carolina Academy of Authors Literary Hall of Fame. This honor places him in the same category as other prominent South Carolina writers such as Pat Controy, Nikky Finney, and DJames Dickey.
