1.  Long Term Care & Retirement Home Consult Line with General Internal Medicine - Starting May 6, 2020 the following phone line will provide primary care physicians, nurse practitioners and medical directors in LTC and RH with 24/7 access to a pool of general internal medicine specialists from across the province: 1-8338-2HELPU 24/7. 2.  Virtual CareTM App - This service is specific to LTC homes and supports virtual video-enabled visits between the primary care physician and resident and clinical staff in the LTC home via laptop or tablet, fully integrated with PointClickCare and MED e-care EHRs. COVID-19 LTC Orientation for Redeployed Healthcare Workers: Supporting Clients with Dementia and Responsive Behaviours (May 5, 9:30am and 4pm) - This is the first of a series of webinars for healthcare workers being redeployed to Long Term Care homes (LTCH) to support the COVID-19 pandemic action plan.  Speakers will introduce healthcare workers to:  Long Term Care, concepts and practice of behaviour support, dementia & related responsive behaviours and quick tips on best practices in supporting people living with dementia.
