Friday March 6, 2020
Dear Immanuel family,

Thank you so very much for all of the donations and time spent putting together class projects for the auction! Tomorrow night it will all come together as we go back to the 80s and celebrate the ministry of Immanuel. Please pray for God's blessings on our auction and all who attend.

Spring break is right around the corner and when we come back from break we will begin the Forward Exam testing. The tests in grades 3-8 give us a picture of how we are doing as a school and show us areas where we can improve. We hope that you will help us by ensuring the students are sleeping and eating well during the testing window.

Our new Bible verse for the month of March reminds us of our theme for the year, "Receive, Believe, Love (Repeat)." We are grateful to God for his grace, giving us our faith, forgiveness, and walking with us on our way.

God's rich blessings,
Sharon Wallace
Bible Verse of the month:

Join us in reading through the RED LETTERS of Jesus!

The goal of Red Letter Challenge (RLC) is to assist people to live more like Jesus. Ever wonder who said those Red Letters in the Bible? Wonder no more! Those Red Letters are Christ’s Words and instructions on how we are called to live.

The RLC is unique because it takes Christ’s literal words and gives you practical challenges to live life like Jesus. With the help of RLC we will grow to love and learn how to follow Jesus not as a requirement but out of thanksgiving and love for Jesus.

  • Are you ready for the Challenge! Start this 40 Day Challenge in a few different ways:

  • Be sure to be in worship March 8-March 29 to hear the sermon series on this topic.

  • Join the adult Bible Study Class on Sunday mornings in the fellowship hall.

  • Buy a book to work through the material on your own.

  • Get a group of friends and family together and chat with Heather Vahl with ideas on how to lead your own small group.

  • Pray for Jesus to lead you to new growth in Him!
