REMINDERS
  • Blue Crew students will be collecting donations for the Little Free Pantry this week. Advisory teachers will receive a list of suggested donation items, and Blue Crew students will come by and pick them up. Please consider helping people in our community. Donations will be collected though Wed., Oct. 23.
  • The Woodland Library will hold a Scholastic Book Fair Tues., Oct. 21-24 from 7:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m. It will also be open to families Oct. 22 from 3:45-6:45 p.m. 
  • What are your plans for next Fri., Oct. 25? How about starting your morning with a sweet treat from Rick's Bakery and then heading to Ozark Bowling Lanes for some bowling? PTO has arranged for a combo spirit event so mention you are with Woodland and we will get a portion of the sales. Remember, there is no school that day due to parent-teacher conferences.
  • Due to Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tues., Oct. 22, Math Club has been rescheduled for Tues., Oct. 29.
  • The Fayetteville Public Schools Cadet Winter Guard will kick off our 2020 season with a tryout clinic on Oct. 30 at FHS. The Cadet Guard is open to ANY student, grades 6-9 enrolled in a Fayetteville PSD Campus. No experience necessary.   • Mark your calendar for the Monster Mash Orchestra Concert scheduled for Wed., Oct. 30 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the FHS Performing Arts Center! This is a fun concert for kids and adults, and audience members can come in costume and trick or treat at the end of the concert!
Parent-Teacher Conference Info

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Tues., Oct. 22 from 3:45-6:45 p.m. OR Fri., Oct. 25 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Flu Shot Clinic Oct. 21

The Washington County Health Department will be at Woodland Mon., Oct. 21 to give flu shots to students. If you want your child to receive a flu shot, please have them pick up a flu shot form from the nurse's office or the front office. Both forms MUST be completed and turned in to the nurse's office by Fri., Oct. 18.

Woodland Socks Available for Order

Hats & Hoodies Fundraiser

Woodland will hold a fundraiser to benefit United Way this Fri., Oct. 18. Students can wear a hat or hoody to school that day for a suggested donation of $1.
Fall Weather is for Food Truck Tours!
Throughout October, The Purple Dog Food Truck will make stops at secondary schools serving up Street-style Tacos to students, staff, and parents! The food truck will head to Woodland Thurs., Oct. 24. Check out the menu below. Pick your fillings and toppings and enjoy your meal outdoors (weather permitting). These are rain or shine events!
