The Importance of Evaluation

Evaluation  is a process that critically examines a program. It involves collecting and analyzing information about a program's activities, characteristics, and outcomes. Its purpose is to make judgments about a program, to improve its effectiveness, and/or to inform programming decisions (Patton, 1987).

The Alaska Education Network is committed to improving the project to meet Alaskan educators and administrators' needs. This can not happen without you.

When we know better we do better!
  1. What happened?
  2. Why? (the story behind what happened)
  3. Why do these results matter and what’s next?

Since the beginning of this project we have been working with an external evaluation team, Data Driven Enterprises . Please keep an eye out for our evaluation requests which may be in the form of a survey or an interview request.

Feedback will be used for grant reporting, identifying needs and how to meet those needs, as well as, how to improve the project. Thank you for your time, consideration and suggestions!
The Alaska Education Network (Project ECHO) is honored to have many district, state and national presenters who shared their expertise and resources with Alaska's educators.

A big thank you to our 2019 - 2020 presenters...
