Revised Version Set for November Release
The IRS's new W-4 - the tax form that controls an employee's
withholding
- is on the way.
After initial plans for a 2019 roll-out were scrapped as a result of financial focus groups citing confusion, a revised draft was released in August this year. The final design is due in November, and employers will be expected to comply with changes by the first of the year. No grace period is being extended.
But changes could result in various challenges for employers, such as the need to maintain two different payroll systems in certain cases.

As the Director of Business Development

Maslow Media has partnered with our client, a convention services company, in search of a Sr. Event Producer for their Cheverly, MD location. This is a full-time non-exempt position.
The primary responsibilities of the Senior Event Producer include (and are not limited to):
Managing, directing and producing Conventions and Conferences throughout the United States and Canada. The position revolves around ensuring the Production, Staging, Audio Visual Elements and customer service needs of our clients.
As the General Counsel in the Rockville, MD office, you will be responsible for leading our corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives. This role will provide senior leadership with effective advice and implementation strategies concerning legal rights, obligations, and privileges in complex business transactions as well as negotiating critical contracts and managing the legal function. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school.
- 5+ years practice with an established law firm or corporation.
- Proficient legal experience in fund investments, venture capital financing and M&A.
