Student Reminders  
  1. Don't forget to wear your show t-shirts to advertise our concerts on Monday and Tuesday.
  2. Don't forget to bring all your costume pieces for the rehearsals after school.
  3. Seniors - be sure to bring folders and music to turn in.
Dear Parents and Students,
 
Please make note of the rehearsal and show times listed below.  All students are expected to be in attendance for the entire rehearsal and show times as part of their grade. Please avoid scheduling appointments during this critical time.  Students who are absent during this week are likely to forfeit solo opportunities as well as their placement on stage. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
 
Spring Show Rehearsal/Performance Schedule
 
Costumes - Everyone must bring in all required costume pieces on Monday (5/20) for the first dress rehearsal.  Click here for the updated list by choir/song. 
 
  Monday, May 20 - Dress rehearsal after school in costume, 3:15 - 6:30 pm
 
  Tuesday, May 21 - Dress rehearsal after school in costume, 3:15 - 6:30 pm
 
  Wednesday, May 22 Spring Show at 7:00 pm, Call time no later than 6:00 pm
 
  Thursday, May 23 - Spring Show at 7:00 pm, Call time no later than 6:00 pm  (All students will be responsible for cleaning their dressing rooms after the show and Concert Choir will need to strike all sound equipment.  Attendance will be called once everything is done.)
   
Tickets All money for Spring Show tickets as well as any unused tickets should be turned in no later than Monday, May 20!
 
Lettering Any student who already turned in a letter point tally sheet for this year must meet with Doc by Friday, May 24 to go over your points for the year.  Please bring all extra material including programs or ticket stubs from concerts attended, as well as letters from voice and piano teachers, etc.  You may set up a time before school, after school, Saxon Time, or during D lunch.
 
Graduation - Call time for Chamber and Madrigals, including seniors, is 7:00 am on June 3 so we can warm-up and rehearse before the buses leave.
 
Chamber Performance Chamber will perform the National Anthem at the Academic Awards Ceremony to be held on Tuesday, June 4 at 3:30 pm in the auditorium.   Call time is 3:15 in the choir room and the dress is:  nice dress or dress pants and blouse.

Decoration Help Needed for Spring Show
 
Come one! Come all! We need help transforming Langley Hall into a place worthy of The Greatest Show!
 
1) The circus tent "entrance" will be installed starting Monday at 3pm. We would love some helpers to help set up the PVC frame and drape the tent.
 
2) We have lots of balloons to blow up to create balloon garlands to drape in various places. We would love help inflating balloons (can be done at home) and also creating the garlands on Wednesday. If you have balloon experience, please let us know! 
 
3) On Wednesday, starting at 2pm, we will need help decorating all of Langley Hall.
-Putting up a pop-up shelter to act as an anchor point for concessions and stringing twinkle lights
-Table skirts on the concessions stand, putting up the sign
-Curtains on the ticket booth and putting up the sign
-Putting up the balloon arches
-Installing light-wrapped hula hoops along the stairs in the auditorium

Concessions for Spring Show
For those who signed up for concessions, we are covered now - thank you!  Please drop them off in the choir room in advance, or deliver them by 6:00 p.m. the day of the first show (Wednesday, May 22)  Click here if you need info about your signup.  
 
Choir Awards Potluck Picnic
Thursday, May 30, 6-8 pm, Cafeteria.
Students, parents, and family are invited to come enjoy a potluck dinner followed by the Choir Awards ceremony.  Students will receive their varsity letters and awards, parent volunteers will be recognized, and we will say a final farewell to seniors.
   
Please note that 2019-20 Chamber and Madrigal students have a required meeting in the choir room with Dr. Lambert immediately following the ceremony.
