Hosted by The New York Chapter of the National Association of Kawaida Organizations (NAKO)  & The International African Arts Festival (IAAFestival), this award program is a small way of saying Asante Sana (thank you very much) to unsung heroes and heroines who have sacrificed so much during their lifetime to educate, build unity and empower the global African community. "These heroic recipients, some more recognized and renowned than others, have a long and rich history of building and contributing much good to the world African community". Program includes film and speakers. Come out and celebrate with us on Malcolm X's birthday THIS Sunday, for the 50th Annual Awards Program!
