Opening Doors to the Future with Career Services!

COVID-19 has been a challenging time for our entire community, including students. With the economy beginning to come back alive, now is the perfect time to mentor our students and get them back to work! Career services can help them get the drive they need to find new employment or grow within their current organizations.

Staff and faculty at the College work diligently to integrate a student’s academic experience with their individual career goals. The Career Services office helps students obtain their future career goals by offering a full line-up of resources available to students at no cost! Here are just a few resources available to students:

Career Services During COVID-19 - Check out these great resources for students that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted.
Meet with a Certified Career Counselor! - Do you have students in your class that could use some career counseling? Students can meet with the College's Certified Career Counselor – either in person, by phone, or online, to gain career counseling services. Students can schedule an appointment online at http://info.granite.edu/career.
Targeted Resume Career Platform - This career platform can help students customize their resumes to job opportunities. The best part is that it free for all students!!!
Attend an Event – The College offers events, information sessions, workshops, and more! While many of these sessions have been put on hold during the pandemic, students can access past events online https://www.granite.edu/current-students/advising-support/career-advising/.
Work Experience Program – Do you have students in your class that could benefit from some on-the-job skills in their desired career? The Career Services Work Experience program will help connect students to projects within an administrative department here at GSC! These are paid positions available to all students. Students can learn more by emailing career.services@granite.edu.
