Thanks everyone for committing to play in this year’s FPC Jerry Warner Golf Tournament.
It appears that the weather will be great and allow us to play this year! The golf committee will be at the course at 7:00 am with water and donuts. Also, each player will get a free bucket of range balls to warm up before the shotgun start at 8:00 am. Everyone will be using the white tees except seniors who will be teeing from the gold tees. Thank you again for playing and stay around after the tournament as we will have gift cards from the pro shop for the 2 flights of winners.

Don’t forget about this Sunday’s “Missional” Young Adult Education Night! Things get started at 4:15 pm before we dive into our educational program with the Rev. Ann Kelly. Dinner starts around 6:00 pm and we plan to grill out! It’s going to be a tasty cookout of hamburgers and hotdogs with all the fixings, sides, and desserts out on the front lawn. Kids can eat and watch a movie on a big outdoor screen while the adults continue building relationships together. This will be a picnic style meal so bring your blankets and chairs! In case of rain, all the fun will be inside the fellowship hall.

RSVPs help to make sure there is always enough to go around. Please RSVP with David Randolph or within the Facebook event. Parents – Please RSVP your child as well if you intend for them to stay with our nursery ministry.
Theological Thursdays: Beginning May 30 th , each Thursday, from noon to 1:00 pm in Fellowship Hall, anyone and everyone is invited to bring their lunch and share in theological conversations about a weekly topic. It's like the congregational bible study, just with a weekly topic instead of a chapter from a book to read. Weekly topics will be selected by the group and scripture will be sent out before Thursday for those who are interested. All are welcome to this casual gathering each week. If you are interested in learning more, please contact David Randolph at drandolphfpc@gmail.com .
VIPs mark your calendars for Thursday, June 6 at 6:00 pm for an appetizer supper at the home of Kristina Carlson and Doug Alexander. This is always a fun event, with people begging for recipes by the end of the night. With that in mind, just bring your favorite appetizer or beverage along with a copy of the recipe and that will be the beginning of the VIPs Appetizer Cookbook. Don't forget to call the church office to make a reservation. For those who wish to ride the bus, it will be leaving the parking lot at 5:45. Call now and don't miss the fun!
ROAR is the theme of this year's Vacation Bible School adventure Monday, July 8-Thursday, July 11 ! If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Erin Alexander at 601-248-8907 or Heather Harris at 901-212-0739. Registration is available HERE !
Grief Support Workshop

The workshop will be 5 consecutive Wednesdays from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm beginning Wednesday, May 29.  During the workshop a bereaved person will work to integrate the new reality of moving forward in life without the physical presence of the person who has died. This workshop is open to anyone. Participants may register using the link below or contact the church office at 234-1757 for more information.

If you'll bring your donations with you to church and deposit them in the church office or the narthex, volunteers will get them to the Lovepacks office for you.
Haven House residents greatly appreciate the daily devotional books you send them as well as inspirational books, classic novels, and all translations of the Bible. Please leave anything you can donate at the church office.
