New: Focus Areas of Ministry
Consistent with the purposes of the Province, Province II’s current primary focus areas of ministry are as follows:
  • Building and maintaining relationships
  • Anti-Human Trafficking
  • Anti-Racism & Reconciliation
  • People on the Move
  • Youth Ministries

General Convention 2021 will be June 30th - July 9th in Baltimore, Maryland. General Convention 2021 will be held at The Baltimore Convention Center ( http://www.bccenter.org/ ), Baltimore, Maryland (Episcopal Diocese of Maryland; https://episcopalmaryland.org/ ).
Province II Bishops' Retreat is planned for April 30 - May 1, 2019
Province II Synod before General Convention will be April 22 -23, 2021 in the Diocese of Albany. All deputies are encouraged to attend.

Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe
The big news from the Convocation is the ordination and consecration of the Rev. Mark Edington as the Rt. Rev. The Rev. Leandra T. Lambert, Curate, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, East Hampton, was one of the clergy interviewed on Newsday.com. The question was about faith and caring for the sick. "The sick among us are dear to the heart of God. Western New York
The current news from the Diocese of Western New York is that Bishop Franklin has retired and that the new bishop is the Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe, who is also  bishop of Northwestern Pennsylvania. He is now Bishop Provisional in Western New York . Festival services were held on April 7, 2019, bidding Bishop Franklin a fond farewell as he heads to the Diocese of Long Island, and welcoming Bishop Sean.
