City Hall reopens (phase one)
Phase One Re-opening Details:

  • The Community Development Department transitioned back to normal operations and will only accept in-person permit submittals. The exception is trade permits, which can continue to be submitted both in-person or via email to buildingpermits@johnscreekga.gov.
  • The Revenue Department re-opened for business licenses, excise taxes, pouring permits, and other revenue transactions.

As part of its second phase of planned re-opening, Johns Creek anticipates Municipal Court to begin again on Tuesday, July 7.
 
If you’re visiting City Hall, we kindly ask that you observe social distancing guidelines and utilize the hand sanitizing stations in the building.

City re-opens iHeart Johns Creek Advisory Committee application process
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Johns Creek is re-opening the self-nomination period for the iHeart Johns Creek Advisory Committee. If you have already applied for this committee, the City will retain your application and you will still be considered. 

City completes 2020 Neighborhood Repaving program
The Johns Creek Public Works Department has finished its second season of repaving neighborhood streets in the 2019-2023 paving plan, resurfacing subdivisions and main roads.

Autrey Mil offers a variety of summer camps for ages 4-13. The nature preserve is also offering a Bacterial Monitoring Workshop on Saturday, July 18.

Register for Adult Co-Ed Softball
Grab your cleats and your bats and let's play ball! Registration is now open for the city's adult co-ed softball program, which runs from Aug. 18 through Oct. 13.

Outdoor Burn Ban runs through Sept. 30
A state-mandated burn ban on all outdoor burning is in effect from May 1 through Sept. 30. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division imposes the ban to comply with Federal Clean Air Regulations.

Be safe, check water release schedule before entering the Chattahoochee River
When the Corps of Engineers releases water from Lake Lanier, the resulting surge of water can cause the river to rise several feet in a short amount of time.

Project Progress: Road construction, parks projects take shape
