Dear High School Families:

We are excited to conclude our 2019 school year, as we attempt to end strongly and with much recognition of our students! During our final couple of weeks, we will celebrate students at the ESPYs, Honor the Seniors Night, Honor the Seniors Chapel and Senior Graduation. Please come and show your support! Information is included in our e news, and please also consider following us on Facebook or Instagram for updates and reports. Advanced Placement testing has concluded in the high school, as students now prepare for finals. Please encourage your students towards focused study, sleep and good eating habits for maximum success.

At VCS, service is a critical element of our mission. In fact, Mr. Ben Davis has directed us towards a focus on service in which we lead by serving. In Luke 22:26, Jesus tells us, "...the greatest among you should be like...the one who serves." A Falcon is recognizable to all by his/her service to others! Recently, members of our Interact Club buddied with children from all over Solano County who have special needs, making them feel valued and loved!

A NOTE FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE:

As agreed upon when you enrolled your child at Vacaville Christian Schools under SECTION 3-FINANCE Financial Policies and Tuition states:

All accounts must be paid in full in order for students to take final semester exams and to participate in year-end graduation or class programs.

Students whose accounts are not current will not be permitted to attend field trips.

Middle School and High School students will not be permitted to take exams or finals until their tuition accounts are paid.

Accounts that are not fully cleared prior to year-end events will exclude students from participation in graduations, year-end events, and field trips.

REMINDER SENIORS

For every college acceptance letter you bring to the office, you will receive a Starbucks gift card.

President's Volunteer Service Award

Are you an active, student volunteer? Please consider submitting for the President's Volunteer Service Award!

Through presidential recognition, the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is the premier volunteer awards program. Please refer to: www.presidentialserviceawards.gov.

If you are committed to volunteering (with at least 50 volunteer hours) and are interested in receiving the award, please contact Mrs. Grabowski at [email protected].

Mrs. Grabowski certifies service hours and is available to assist you. This award can be included in scholarship and college applications.
