Dear Members,

We hope this update finds you, your families, and everyone in your social networks healthy and well!

It's been said that adversity doesn't build character, but reveals it. Our members' patronage during recent times have highlighted the remarkable character of our club. As an example, for Easter carryout, we had the pleasure of preparing 426 meals for our member families, and a number of these meals were delivered by our members to those in quarantine or in need.

As we have operated over the past five weeks, we will respond to our state and local leaders for focused guidance on how and when to make our amenities available to the members again. Last Thursday's announcements by federal and state leadership suggest that, at least a portion of, our club's amenities may be reopened with strict guidelines as early as May 1. Please be on the lookout for continued emails and updates from the Club as procedures regarding the reopening of our club's amenities become better defined.

At this time, we have elected to cancel our Men's Opening Day golf tournament, along with our Mother's Day Brunch. As we did for Easter, Chef Matt will prepare carryout meals for our families to enjoy on Mother's Day. Additionally, all quarterly food & beverage spending minimums that ended in the month of March or April have been deferred to the end of May.

Recent developments have now permitted us to allow the utilization of golf carts on the golf course. Per the Delaware General Health District, golf carts must only be utilized by single-riders. Golf carts will be sanitized after each use with a CDC recommended, and EPA registered, disinfectant proven to kill COVID-19. Staff members cleaning carts will be outfitted with appropriate personal protective gear. Please refer to the updated temporary golf restrictions for guidelines regarding cart rentals:
