Dance families,

First of all we would like to THANK YOU for your patience as we have worked on a plan for the conclusion of the 2019-20 season for our recreational dancers. It has been challenging to know what is best for all, especially in the fluid situation we are all in.

Our goals are:

  • To celebrate the accomplishments of our dancers
  • Give dancers an opportunity to shine and perform
  • Get dancers in those much anticipated costumes
  • Congratulate and acknowledge our WDC Class of 2020!

If it were any ‘normal’ year, we would do all of this at East Ridge High School, but we all know this is far from a normal year! We are committed, however, to accomplish these goals and as most things in the world right now, it will just look a little different!

We are moving forward with our 2020 - Year End Celebration!

As we move into May, our recreational students will all have Zoom classes with their teachers. We will conclude the season with an online performance for our families at home, led by your WDC instructor! We hope that this gives our students something fun to look forward to, a goal to work towards, and a sense of accomplishment for all they have learned this year.

May Classes Via Zoom
As we move into May, dancers will have live Zoom classes with their teachers. Zoom classes will be held on the same day as your dancers' usual class schedule and around the same time. Class times have been adjusted to avoid overlap of class times for siblings wherever possible. Some overlaps could not be avoided. We hope this prevents conflicts for families that may have only one device for classes.

April 27th - May 1st
Darby's Dancers will continue with SeeSaw classes through April 30th.

May 1st - 14th
  • All Darby's classes will be held via Zoom (see updated class times)
  • Class times have been adjusted to avoid overlap of class times for siblings wherever possible. Some overlaps could not be avoided.
  • Seesaw classes will remain active for dancers to access through the end of the season. Teachers will continue to post new content in Seesaw until classes transfer to live Zoom Classes.

  • Zoom login information will be sent separately to each class via email using the email address linked to your studio account.
  • Zoom login information will also be posted in each SeeSaw class and in your studio online tuition/registration account.
