This week, our EDGE students will be taking a look at the Acts of the Apostles and the development of the early Church. After Christ's ascension into heaven, the Apostles waited until they had received the Holy Spirit (as Jesus himself had promised). Then, having been empowered by the Spirit, the Apostles began their ministry, building up the Kingdom of God and carrying the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
