Kindergarten will be here before you know it! Over the next few newsletters there will be links for more information about kindergarten readiness. Today's focus is on language development. Don't hesitate to ask your child's teacher for additional ideas!

Kindergarten Information Night!

Please come on Tuesday night to our K information night! Blessed Sacrament & Regina Coeli Kindergarten Information night is being held at our school in the St. Dominic Room on 2/25/20 from 7 PM-8 PM Principals and teachers from each school will be on hand to answer questions and to give you information about entering Kindergarten!

We are holding a Spring World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser. This fundraiser is completely optional but any participation is greatly appreciated! There are 2 items for sale. A chocolate bunny for $7.00 or chocolate covered almonds for $7.00. All orders and money must be turned in to the school office no later than Friday March 6th. Order forms are coming home today in your child's yellow folder.

Funds received from these fundraisers will be used to purchase supplies and updating items in our classrooms.

We truly appreciate the participation our families are able to give.

Please note changes to our Summer Care policy!

Optional Summer Care registration will be open within the next month. This Care welcomes current students ONLY. Beginning this year, older & younger sibling will not be permitted to attend. Current students attending Kindergarten in the fall ARE permitted to attend. Students who have NOT attended our school in the 2019-2020 school year will not be able to register. Sorry for the inconvenience this may place on some families.

Spring Sports Sign-Up

It is time for Spring Sport signups!! The following sports are offered in the Spring:

Coed Soccer Pre-K and K

Coed T-Ball Pre-K and K

Signs up will begin February 7 ^th for all sports above.

Soccer sign up will end March 9 ^th with games starting March 29 ^th.

T-Ball sign ups will end April 3 ^rd with games starting in May.

Pre-K and K soccer will have at least one practice per week with games on Saturday mornings at Christ the King.

T-Ball and Lob Ball will have at least one practice a week with games on Saturdays. T-Ball and Lob Ball games will start as soccer is winding down.

We are in need of a T-Ball Coordinator in anyone is interested. Please contact our Athletic Director at [email protected].

Registration is now open!! Please see your child's yellow folder for a packet. If you have a younger child at home and need a packet, please get one from the office. Please note, Registration fees are discounted from now until 2/21.

***Turn in your registration packet by 2/21 and registration fee is only $75. Don't miss out on the early bird special. Next week the early bird special ends and the fee returns to $100.

All PK classes will attend Mass on the listed days. Please join us!! Note the change in the next scheduled Mass.

School Cancellations and Delays & Notifications

1. Look for "Washington Local" delays or closings on the news or via news station alerts.

2. Sign up for Remind to have alerts sent to you via text or email about delays/closings, event reminders like picture day, field trips, special activities etc.

3.. Check FB for updates

*Remind will also be used to notify you if there is an emergency or concern that you need to be made aware of immediately.
