bursariesNew Bursary Guidelines
As part of our ongoing efforts to make arts education more accessible, we have recently revised our bursary awards program.

In the past, we accepted bursary applications once each year and from Place des Arts students only. Going forward, we will accept bursary applications throughout the year and will allow anyone aged 17 and under with financial need and who wishes to take a class or lesson at Place des Arts to apply.

Review the bursary guidelines and fill out an application here.

The deadline to receive a bursary application is six weeks prior to the class or lesson start-date of the program the bursary will be applied to.

dancepdDance for Parkinson's Open House
Our wonderful Dance for PD® (Parkinson's disease) teacher Megan Walker-Straight is inviting anyone interested in learning more about this effective program to attend a free open house class on Tuesday, April 9 from 10:15 - 11:15 am. Visitors are welcome to join in the class or watch from the sidelines.

After the class open house, all are invited to stay for tea, coffee and cookies. Megan and Place des Arts programmer Jessie Au will be available to answer questions at this time.

Dance for PD® classes engage the imagination and inspire the body to move. We aim to provide a creative and artistic experience where participants practice movement skills, connection and hope in a welcoming environment.
