In March, we hosted our
7th Annual Wisconsin Women in Leadership Symposium
with another incredible panel of accomplished professionals. These panelists share their experiences, tips and mentoring on how to build the bridge to success. More than 400 participants attended this extremely popular career and professional development event exploring the theme "Center Stage: Standing Out and Speaking Up."
Diem Van Groth, former Chancellor Scholar, to Inspire 2019 DDEEA Graduates
Our students, as always, are being lauded for their accomplishments
within and
beyond their UW-Madison programs. Graduation is just the first in countless next steps, from
internships to jobs and graduate school, in defining lifelong success on their own terms in a challenging global economy.
One of our own, former Chancellor Scholar
Diem Van Groth, has forged an
uncommon path to success as he
ad of Creative and Brands for New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, the New Zealand government's international business development agency. He will inspire our graduates with his message at graduation on
Friday, May 10, in Memorial Union's Shannon Hall.
Regardless of specifics on where our graduates will be three weeks or three years from now, this class is representative of a generation that is the backbone of change. They are realistic, creative, entrepreneurial and determined. And we are proud.
Join us in celebrating our graduates by watching the ceremony on line via live stream at:
