This is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to dive into early learning and care, including Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSI). Hear directly from parents, specialists, and the Oregon Department of Education.
Next, join us for Covid-19 and Special Education Services: What You Need to Know on October 23rd from 9 AM-1 PM. This Virtual Summit is geared towards families of youth returning to classrooms in a new and changing environment to help you learn about COVID-19 recovery services and your student’s IEP.. We’ll cover a broad range of topics related to the return to school and navigating special education services in the pandemic.

Making Your Way Through Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education

Off to a Great Start will help families get off to a great start by focusing on strengths, having high expectations, and tips for building whole, full, sometimes messy lives, for our littles. Covid - 19 and Special Education Services: What you Need to Know!
October 23, 9am - 1pm
With the start of the 21-22 school year, parents might be looking back at the last 18 months of education and wonder, “Now what?”. During this training participants will
learn the importance of setting a positive trajectory for returning to school with new and changing COVID regulations, be introduced to the temporary Individualized COVID-19 Recovery Services rule adopted in Oregon and have opportunity to examine strategies to prepare for your child’s IEP meeting to discuss Covid recovery services.

Charting your Course with a One-Page Profile!
September 30, 6pm - 8pm
Having a vision for the future for your child is important to make sure that your child has a positive trajectory! During Charting Your Course with a One-Page Profile, participants will learn about how setting a vision/dream for the future is the beginning of the journey, that the importance of introducing a child with their strengths. The importance of having high expectations. The one-page profile and how it can be used in the IEP and in identifying supports, building community, and planning for life after school
