It is with great pleasure that I tell you that Bauer's Market & Garden Center will be reopening tomorrow, April 15th!
Minnesota's Governor Walz announced last week that garden centers are officially an essential business in the state! We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers, and team members very seriously. Since his announcement, we have been diligently working to get things in place in order to reopen safely.
Your shopping experience will look slightly different as we have altered our store to provide a safe and sanitized environment for both our customers and team members during these times.
We are taking these additional actions for everyone’s safety:
· Dedicated entrances and exits will enable one-way traffic flow.
· Masks will be worn by all team members at all times.
· The CDC recommends people wear a cloth face covering while out, we would
appreciate you do that while shopping with us. We encourage customers to wear gloves if they wish.
· We request that one person per family shops to assist with social distancing.
· We may need to limit the number of people inside the greenhouse at one time.
· Isles will become one-way to ensure 6-foot distancing and product will be displayed in a way that allows for easy social distancing.
· Customers and staff will remain 6 feet apart at all times. Customers and other customers must abide by the 6-foot social distancing CDC guidelines.
· Carts will be sanitized daily and handles sanitized after each use.
· Gloves will be worn by sales floor team members.

Register staff will use sanitizer after every customer.
·
Sale transactions will be done with extra precautions: Customers and team members will remain 6 feet apart at all times. Plexiglas barriers are at registers to minimize contact. Merchandise returns will be temporarily unavailable.
· Checkout lines may seem longer than usual due to the 6-foot social distancing but this will not affect your normal checkout time.
· All high-touch areas will be cleaned repeatedly throughout the day.
· We encourage customers to still use Bauer’s online store and curbside pickup when appropriate.
· Restrooms will be closed until further notice.
· Please be patient with us, and other customers, when you visit. This is a learning experience for everyone.
We want to serve our customers and the community safely & responsibly and are following guidance from local, state, and federal authorities. You can rely on us for your gardening essentials, and we'll continue to provide Bauer Quality product and customer service you deserve and have come to expect over 60+ years.
For those who cannot {or do not feel comfortable to} shop in-store, you may shop online or by phone for curbside pickup. More items are added to our online store daily as new items arrive and time allows! Find Bauer's online store at

. Order deadline is noon for same-day pickup and your order will be available for curbside pickup from 1-4pm. Orders received after noon will be filled the following day {Monday through Saturday} and available for curbside pickup from 1-4pm.
