to High School Highlights; designed especially for high school parents and students at Summit Academy, to help keep you in the know.
Thank you to all students and parents for continuing to do such a great job of keeping track of schedules and assignments for distance learning. We appreciate you!
I will continue to keep the high school distance learning schedule in the weekly update each week so you have something to refer back to. Students seem to be having a more difficult time remembering when to log into their afternoon classes - so some additional guidance may be needed in this area.
I would also like to reiterate from Mr. Strothman's communication last week that, at this time, all activities that were scheduled during the month of April have been cancelled.
For the high school, this means that there will be no Jr. Ring Ceremony or Jr./Sr. Prom on April 24.
Please know that the administration will communicate with you whether these events are re-scheduled, cancelled, to be done virtually, etc, as soon as the Governor determines what Kentucky schools are going to look like in May. Thank you for your patience!
