Feeling Thankful in Sequim

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and the official start of the holiday season.  Celebrations will look different this year as we follow safety guidelines and limit our contacts due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  In Sequim, we have tried to focus on what we can do safely and still celebrate this special time of year.  2020 has been tough, but 2021 looks to be brighter.  We wish you and your loved ones a safe and joyous holiday season.

Celebrate the Season!
Enjoy the Lights!

The Sequim community pulled out all the stops this year to light up the town and brighten the season.  Driving through Blyn on Highway 101 to the east of Sequim, you will be dazzled by the beautiful display of lights at the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribal campus.  This exhibit is their way of saying thank you to the community.

The City of Sequim local elves (dedicated volunteers) and City staff have been decorating the official holiday tree, downtown businesses, light poles, and parks.  You will want to explore the whole City and not miss one display.

You'll find holiday lights throughout the City.

On the west end of town, the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe lights up the historic railroad bridge trellis at Railroad Bridge Park.  Plan to take a walk or ride your bike, but be sure to bring a flashlight for the trip to and from your car.

Shop Small Business Saturday

Support small local businesses on Small Business Saturday, November 28 and throughout the season.  Sequim stores are stocked with unique items to help you find just the right gifts for your family and friends.  Store owners have decorated up their windows to welcome you and you can vote for your favorite display at https://www.sequimchamber.com/

Play Elk on a Shelf
