What's happening at HF?

We hope 2015 is off to a great start!

Classes are resuming here at Holy Family and everyone is rolling forward into what should be an excellent spring semester. ZUMBA classes will resume on January 12 for you to dance off the winter blues. We're joining forces with our SEPCHE partners for an Alumni-Career event in April. There is also details below about Family and Friends BINGO, an important panel discussion on race relations, and some fun stories from the Christmas Rose Challenge.

Thanks for staying connected. We hope to see you soon!

Christmas Rose memories
Thanks to all the classes and alumni who participated in the Christmas Rose Challenge. We loved hearing your stories of connecting, re-connecting and sharing new laughs and memories with your Holy Family "Family."

Jerry Wutkowski '13 wrote a beautiful reflection on his gathering with some fellow young alums (including some great photos). Check it out on his blog. Here is a picture of their Christmas Rose group!

The Class of '60 shared that met for lunch then headed to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square to see their spectacular Christmas display. They enjoyed their day together very much!

Its never too early to plan to get together with fellow alumni friends for next year! If you missed this holiday season, connect and make a date for the Christmas Rose Challenge 2015. We look forward to your pictures and stories from this and every alumni gathering.
Life After Ferguson
Where Do We Go From Here?

This year, in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, the Holy Family University Diversity Team is hosting a major event on campus. On Thursday afternoon, January 29th, 1:00pm-3:00 pm, ETC Auditorium there will be a panel-led forum entitled, "Life after Ferguson: Where do we go from here? The goal or purpose of this event is to identify strategies to move beyond the current state of racial tension, violence, and unrest that exists in our city and our nation following the events of Ferguson and New York City. In an effort to promote healing through meaningful dialogue between members of law enforcement and the community, especially the black community, the panel will respond to questions posed to them by our moderator, Dr. James Huber. This event is open to the public as well as our campus community, so it would be most helpful if you could RSVP if you plan to attend with the number of people you wish to bring.

RSVP to Dr. Gloria Kersey-Matusiak at [email protected].
