A Sacred Season
Dear Friends in Christ Our Hope,
All are invited to join us for the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday, February 26th. We will have two Masses for the community at 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. We will also be doing brief "Ashes on the Hour" during all non-Mass hours from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

"Ashes on the Hour" is an ash distribution liturgy new this year and is one way we live out our mission to be a beacon of light for people who live and work in downtown Seattle.

Has someone before asked why you have ashes on your forehead on Ash Wednesday? This quick  video  explains how this day begins the sacred Lenten season and why we receive ashes.

Peace,
