Blessings this Easter

Friends,
As we head into Easter weekend, let us not forget that the celebration of our risen King is not confined to sanctuaries, family gatherings, or buildings. Our churches may be empty this weekend, but our hearts are full of gratitude, hope, and joy.
This weekend is perhaps a bit more somber than it usually is. We miss our families. We miss our churches. But let us never forget that our God is a God who turns darkness into light, hopelessness into hope, and suffering into glory. In the midst of fear, uncertainty, anger, sickness... remember this simple truth this weekend: Christ died for you. You are his Beloved. And we are never, ever alone.

President Trump’s Bold Coronavirus Response
President Trump and his administration continue to prioritize the health and safety of the American people.
President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force are leading a bold, aggressive, and unprecedented whole of America response to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The President’s response effort began in January and has not slowed.

on the President’s actions. Additionally, the daily briefings are keeping the media and public informed. This transparent response is unprecedented, and the majority of Americans approve.
Americans know President Trump is fighting for them during these challenging times. The President, Vice President, and the White House Coronavirus Task Force are working closely with our World, Federal, State, and Local leaders to get necessary supplies to hotspots and all 50 states. The Army Corps of Engineers is building 22 field hospitals and alternate care sites in 18 states. More than 8,000 ventilators have been sent from the national stockpile to states. 11 million N-95 masks have been delivered to hotspots around the country. 24 Project Airbridge flights have been completed and 49 additional flights are scheduled. No nation has developed a more robust testing capacity. We have conducted over 1.8 million tests nationwide and more than 100,000 people per day. To date, 1,200 Abbott Machines have been shipped to hospitals nationwide and 500 more are being produced weekly. This will help health care professionals test patients at a faster rate. The Trump Administration continues to make the development of coronavirus vaccines and therapeutic treatments a number one priority.
In addition to the Federal Government’s efforts, private sector partners continue to step up and produce much needed personal protection equipment (PPE), respirators, ventilators, and supplies. This week, Apple announced they will produce 1 million face shields per week for medical workers. This is in addition to the 20 million N95 masks the company has already donated. Companies, businesses, and everyday Americans continue to step up to help those in need.

during this national pandemic and to celebrate examples of heroism and patriotism the White House launched the
social media hashtag #AmericaWorksTogether

Democrats’ Proposed Election Changes
Democrats are using the coronavirus pandemic to propose changes to our election process.
As President Trump continues to offer a bold response to the coronavirus, Democrats are attempting to use the global outbreak to make nationwide election changes to fit their far-left agenda and give them a political edge. Democrats’ calls for a national all-mail election would fundamentally change our voting process a mere 7 months before the election. Most states do not have expertise in vote-by-mail elections, and it could result in significant problems to impose this one-size-fits-all approach so late in the game. Democrats’ all-mail ballot proposal is nothing but an attempt to install ballot harvesting nationwide. Even Joe Biden doesn’t support those in his party who are pushing for federally-mandated vote-by-mail, saying he “prefers to have in-person voting.”
