The Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday
The Altar Greenery is dedicated to the Glory of God and loving memory of Bob Mick by Rebecca Mick and family.

Thanks to the Daughters of the King, the lilies are ready to be delivered to members, most of whom, are homebound.

Please stop by the Glenn Gallery after services tomorrow to pick out a lily to deliver. The Daughters h ave done all the work - each flower is labeled with the name and address of a parishioner to visit.

Have you claimed your name tag yet? As part of St. Luke’s efforts to be more welcoming, we encourage all parishioners to wear a name tag. You can claim yours tomorrow morning by going to the Reception Area where volunteers are waiting to assist you.
Holy Week and Easter Day
Night Watch Sign Up
Keeping watch on Maundy Thursday into Good Friday is an ancient spiritual practice of the church in which teams of people come for one hour to pray and reflect on the events of Holy Week, in anticipation of Easter. We provide space in Wilmer Chapel, as well as prayers and other material for reflection. We ask folks to come in teams of two and to sign up for the hours they will cover. Please sign up at the Reception Desk.
Easter Breakfast make your reservation for this special time for clergy and parishioners to share a meal and the joy of Easter morning! Register online or call 404-873-7777. $9 Adults (17 & up) | $5 (16 & younger) | $30 Family max - Under 3 no charge. Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m.
Opportunities and Announcements
Have you taken the Parish Survey?
You should have received an email with a link to the survey that is the first step in collecting information for our rector search. If you haven’t already, please take the survey -- we need your thoughts. It takes about 20-25 minutes. If you prefer to fill out a paper survey, please request one from Michelle Jemmott in the church office.
Director of Music Arlan Sunnarborg is making available online all of the St. Luke's Mass movements. If you'd like to watch the videos - or even download a score go to https://arlansunnarborg.com/shop/st-lukes-mass/

This link is also available on the music page of the church website.
Fill the Outreach Baskets In April we’re collecting for Forever Family, an organization that works with children whose parents are incarcerated. One of their most important programs taking the kids to visit their parents and we’re collecting snack items to make that trip more palatable: individually wrapped cheese (cheddar squares or string cheese), individual packets of nuts ( no peanuts but they love almonds, walnuts, cashews), Slim Jims.  If you are interested in sharing God’s love and volunteering through the Fill the Outreach Baskets ministry or have any questions about donations, please contact the Rev. Horace L. Griffin ( horace@stlukesatlanta.org ).
Senior Sunday

Save the Date: 5th Grade Celebration
Members of our 5th grade Sunday School class will celebrate the culmination of their time in Children’s Ministries on Sunday, May 12 at 10:15 a.m.  Each child is recognized with the presentation of a Bible and then the group is welcomed into EYC, our youth group. Invite your godparents! It is our tradition to have the kids' godparents make the presentation.
Creation Sunday is April 28 at St. Luke’s and we will welcome Dr. Gerald Durley as our guest speaker. Dr. Durley is the legendary “warrior/prophet” minister who, for more than a quarter of a century, has not only transcended his Christian faith and his Providence Missionary Baptist Church pulpit, but has embraced and encouraged an entire generation of Atlanta’s unique brand of civil and human rights-based leadership. Dr. Durley believes we all are entitled to clean water, toxic-free air, and a non-polluted environment.

Have you have you made the pledge to grow a loving, liberating, life-giving relationship with the whole of God’s Creation; to join with others to protect and renew the Earth and all who call it home so that, together, we are living the Way of Love? If not, go online to the St. Luke’s website and scroll down to the Take the Pledge icon and click it -- or just click on the button below.
Hospitality Helpers Needed
St. Luke’s is looking for volunteers to help with the new Name Tag ministry as well as our existing Greeters ministry. Commitments are for one weekend per month and during a specific time slot. If you are interested in sharing God’s love through these wonderful ministries or want to know more, please contact Mark Simmons ( mark@stlukesatlanta.org | 404-873-7624).
