join Burlington Tennis Club
as newest community clubs to access Ace Tennis junior programming system

The long term success of Ace Tennis junior development programming is now being extended to seasonal community clubs. The nationally recognized year round programs at Cedar Springs [18 years in a row recognized as a Tennis Canada Gold Designated Development Center] in Burlington and in Toronto, at the red clay courts of Toronto Tennis City Tennis City is now available for seasonal community clubs.
 
The prototype experiment with the six court Burlington Tennis Club has proven the benefits of such a partnership. Over the last three years, the Burlington community club has flourished under the direction of Victor Hoang and Flavia Nagayama offering Ace Tennis curriculum  and greatly enhancing the junior program while increasing over all membership. Brian Opitz, president: "The Burlington  Tennis Club has enjoyed a positive relationship with ACE Tennis. Our club has benefitted from this partnership and look forward to continued success."
 
Adam Dykes, Ace Progressive Head Coach at Toronto Tennis City will supervise the implementation of recruiting programs and summer camps at Bridlewood Tennis Club in Scarborough: Deborah Kudjerski, President of Bridlewood Tennis Club : "We are very excited to have our pro, Adam Dykes, in association with Ace Tennis, lead junior lessons and camps at our club this summer. It will be a fun and active tennis season exposing families in and around our community to the sport. We hope that many kids will come out to improve their skills or try tennis for the first time."
 
The Milton Tennis Club, with 8 newly resurfaced tennis courts is one of the fastest growing communities in Canada. MTC will have Mike Donski a former national level player and Matt Klinger, former Canadian Davis Cup player heading a revitalized junior option for the community; Susan Kitamura, president: " The Milton Tennis Club is excited to be partnering with ACE for the summer junior programs.  With our new facility, it is only fitting that we offer our children the same quality of tennis instruction.  With ACE, we are thrilled to be giving the kids even more opportunities than before, to learn and love the game, so that they will be playing tennis for many years to come"

Ace uses a simple but proven approach to community club junior development:
  1. Spring collaboration with nearby schools for recruiting
  2. Early series of complementary lessons for new junior members
  3. Access to progressively designed curriculum which improves level of play and as a result retention to the sport
  4. Implementation of the Ace Tennis curriculum in community junior programs by certified Tennis Canada coaches formed in the Ace Tennis system
  5. Supportive competitive and social activities to provide a holistic development of youngsters
  6. Communication with parents and executives of the community club
