Your student will also be eligible for the school band and one of three levels of the popular Monday Night Band program at Walther: a fun, relaxed, energized evening of playing as a group with friends from 13 other schools! In addition, your student will reap the other benefits of an instrumental music education: A sharper memory to help develop the abstract reasoning skills he/she needs for advanced math and science, stronger social skills, new friendships, teamwork, leadership, confidence, patience, higher self-esteem, and better time management skills.
