Call for Local Government Resolutions
UBCM's annual resolutions process provides a forum for local governments from across the province to express concerns and develop united positions. Resolutions that are endorsed by the membership at our annual Convention become policy for UBCM. Local governments are encouraged to submit resolutions for consideration by regional Area Associations a their annual meetings. Resolutions endorsed by Area Associations are submitted automatically to UBCM for consideration in September.

Summary of Grant Activity in 2018
Information is now available on all active grants under funding programs administered by UBCM's Local Government Program Services in 2018. The reports are organized by applicants (local governments, First Nations and others) and include the status and approved funding for all active applications. Read more

UBCM Seeks Rail Safety Committee Representative
UBCM seeks a representative on the British Columbia Operation Lifesaver Provincial Committee. The Committee's objective is to educate Canadians about the hazards posed by rail property and trains. Interested parties may contact Bhar Sihota, UBCM Policy Analyst, by February 8, 2019. Read more
