What have you discovered this
Lenten season?

So many times, we are encouraged to give up something for Lent. Give up chocolate (no thank you!). Give up red meat (that I can do). Give up. And then, during my college years, I heard a sermon from Rev. Norman Whitney that encouraged me to add to. Add something to my spiritual practices that will help me learn, grow, and transform. Each Lenten season, I add to. This year, I added Prayer Art. You may have seen the bulletin covers or walked past the Prayer Art in the hall outside of my office. I believe this prayerful and meditative practice has really been a blessing and I look forward to continuing the spiritual discipline well past the Lenten season. Stop by the wall outside of my office and take a look at the art. Ponder...Wonder...and in those actions, you have added a spiritual practice this Lenten season.

Peace,
Charlotte Allbright
