UniFirst Donates 10,000 Face Masks to the Chamber
for Local Businesses
UniFirst Corporation is partnering with the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce to donate 10,000 protective face masks to local businesses in need, as part of a company-wide initiative to support the small business community. As state shutdowns are lifted and the economy begins to reopen, many small business owners are struggling to source and provide their staff with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) required to meet government guidelines. The Amarillo Chamber of Commerce will divide and share the donated masks with a number of small businesses in our community. Be sure and check out the quick 1-minute video to learn more about this PPE donation to the Chamber for small local businesses.
How can you get masks for your employees?
If you are a small business in need of masks for your employees, please contact Denise at the Chamber at 373-7800 or email her at denise@amarillo-chamber.org to reserve some for you to pick up at the Chamber between the hours of 9am - 3pm Monday through Friday. Businesses may also walk in during those hours to pick some up on a first-come-first-serve basis. Our goal is to be able to share with as many small business Chamber members as possible
We're excited to announce that the #AmarilloIsOpen Marketing Partner Initiative will officially launch this Friday morning, June 12th at 8:30 AM.

Business After Hours at Will Rogers Range Riders Rodeo Arena
Thursday, June 25
We've missed networking as much as all of you. Although we are still doing our best to maintain proper safety precautions, we want to share with you our first "unofficial" Business After Hours to take place since the pandemic started in March. The Will Rogers Range Riders were on our schedule for months to do an After Hours event as a kick-off and preview to their annual rodeo that will take place July 2-4. We will be sharing more information about this event in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. If you have question about this event or their upcoming rodeo, give them a call at (806) 622-2102 or email support@wrrangeriders.com.
ALL IN for a Safe Return Survey
ALL IN for a Safe Return would be a voluntary program for businesses to adhere to Governor Abbott's guidance for specific types of businesses, along with a brief set of local guidelines.

Participation would show customers and employees that your business is concerned for their health and safety.

Click here to complete the short, 3-question survey to indicate whether this program would be beneficial for your business.
