Businesses Asked to Donate P.P.E. Items Businesses that have a surplus of protective equipment (P.P.E.) are asked to consider donating these items to the Village's first responders during the COVID-19 outbreak. Virtual Town Hall Meeting A communication was sent out Sunday regarding the Village's virtual Town Hall meeting to take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and broadcast via Facebook live on the Village's Facebook page Click here for more information.  Please submit question(s) by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at this link . You can also submit question(s) via the comments section during this Facebook live event. If you do not have a Facebook page, you are still able to view this virtual meeting by visiting the Village of Buffalo Grove Facebook page.

Special Village Board Meeting The Buffalo Grove Village Board will host a special Village Board meeting, following the virtual Town Hall meeting at 7:30 p.m. The Board will be discussing the continuation of the Village President's emergency declaration. Members of the public are encouraged to participate electronically. To listen to the meeting, call  415-655-0060 and please use the access code  786-424-109 . Executive Order Regarding Carryout Alcohol The  Village President signed a second Executive Order that allows liquor license holders that are also dining establishments to sell beer and wine for carryout; food must also be a part of the purchase. This order was signed to assist our local restaurants that may be struggling during this time. However, the delivery of alcohol is only permitted by Basset certified employees of the dining establishment. Messages from Area Townships

Vernon Township is seeking food pantry donations, and is in need of canned proteins such as beans, chicken and tuna, dry beans, and pasta and rice. Shopping carts are located outside the  Vernon Township building where donations can be placed. Cash donations are also being accepted. If you are coordinating a collection/have a large delivery, call the Township at  847-634-4602 during office hours to coordinate a donation drop off. For more information, click  here .

Wheeling Township e ncourages residents to call 847-259-7730 if they are in need of assistance, or if they know of someone who is. They continue to serve residents through general assistance by appointment only; Township buses continue to transport seniors to/from medical appointments and to the grocery store.
