On January 28, the MBTA released proposals to change bus service coming out of the Better Bus Project. The service change proposals affect many routes including the following routes in Cambridge:

On January 28, the MBTA proposed a fare increase to be implemented on July 1. The proposal is to increase fares by 6 to 7 percent depending on the specific fare type.
MBTA to host community meetings to discuss new fare collection system and Better Bus Project proposals
The MBTA will visit several communities throughout greater Boston to present the Better Bus Project proposals and solicit public input on the new fare collection system. Project staff presented to the Fiscal Management and Control Board some of the outreach strategies on January 28.
