SAVE THE DATE!
The 5th Annual JA JobSpark will take place on
September 22-23, 2020 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds
Thank you for volunteering at JA JobSpark 2019!
An event of this magnitude is possible because of volunteer support from
business and community partners. You made a difference by being

Online Resources for Educators & Parents
With schools closing, Junior Achievement is providing free online resources to teachers and parents. We are doing this so our kids can spend more time planning for and dreaming about tomorrow, and less time worrying about today. We are committed to doing this until we can all be certain again. Please visit our website for teacher and parent resources!

If your company has any educational resources that you'd like to share, please send them to molly@jaindy.org and we will make sure they are included in the monthly Educator newsletter for teachers & students.
JA EduSpark Industry Tours- Postponed!
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, we unfortunately had to postpone our upcoming Industry Tours scheduled for March 31 & April 1 at Stoops Freightliner- Quality Trailer and the Clearvista Lake Health Campus (Trilogy Health Services). We look forward to rescheduling these industry tours for the summer- and we'd love to add additional industry tour opportunities at YOUR company, too!

If your company or someone you may know might be interested in hosting a JA EduSpark Industry Tour, please contact Cindy at cindyk@jaindy.org for more information.

Staff Story
Junior Achievement's Director of Development, Kacy Wendling, shared this story with the staff this past week and we wanted to share it with you, too:

"The weekend before social distancing I (Kacy) met a teacher who works at the Indiana School for the Blind at my gym. We were partners during our workout and started talking after class... she shared she was a teacher, I shared that I worked for JA and she was so excited to tell me her students went to JA JobSpark last September! She couldn't stop gushing about the program and how her kids are still talking about it. I mean honestly, we had just finished a one hour workout and I'm literally panting. No idea how she could put together any sentences but she was very fired up about JA and couldn't stop talking about it. She really emphasized how few things her students get to fully participate in and JA JobSpark was one of her (and her students) favorite things they have every done. The ability to have hands-on experiences that made her students feel included meant the world to them."

THANK YOU for being a volunteer for JA JobSpark! As you can see, what you do is so important and beneficial to these students.
