Use the new Clear the Clutter tool to report scooter violations
T ired of scooters blocking sidewalks? Or being buzzed by scooters zipping by?

Scooters blocking sidewalks
An ordinance the City of Atlanta approved early  this year banned riding e-scooters on sidewalks. It also banned parking in ways that block sidewalks or curb ramps.

The city also distributed educational materials.

Despite that, people continue to ride on and block sidewalks. With your help, we can change that.

Use the new Clear the Clutter tool to report scooters behaving badly. If you see violations, snap photos and submit them.

The Clear the Clutter report we create will include dozens of photos from you and people like you. Together, let's spur Atlanta officials to take action that puts an end to sidewalk clutter and keeps sidewalks safe for walking.

Access the tool or  download the "WeDemandBetter" app (available for iOS and Android) and click on the Clear the Clutter campaign. Thank you for taking action!

Community Walking Champions program takes big strides forward
Our new Community Walking Champions initiative aims to increase the amount, effectiveness, and diversity of grassroots advocacy.

Nine out of ten people in the Atlanta region support increased investment in sidewalks and safe crossings. Yet most lack an understanding of transportation jargon, effective safety tools, decision-making processes, and available funding sources.

We're thrilled to partner with local GirlTrek Teams and other organizations to help change that.  With help from Community Captains, we'll provide listening sessions, advocacy workshops, and fun pop-up events.

We're grateful to Kaiser Permanente for providing support that makes this program possible. We'll keep you posted on our progress.
