Discover Trends and Color in the New Decade
Program Summary
This course is equal to 0.1 IDCEC CEU LU/HSW and 1 AIA LU. This CEU helps the audience understand the importance of color in design as well as in our everyday lives. The course explores how color is around us daily, and the need for a universal color system. The course will explain what Pantone is and how they determine the color of the year by examining macro trends for the decade and micro trends of 2020. Finally, the course will explore the 2020 Pantone color of the year and how it will be used in design.

- Identify and explain the influence of color in design and in the world around us.
- Understand the standard for matching color globally through Pantone.
- Describe the decade's macro trends of the decade and the micro trends for 2020.
- Identify the 2020 Pantone Color of the Year and explain how it will be used in design for 2020
